WALES – Oak Hill High School alumni are organizing a multi-year class reunion for classes from the 1980s.
This is an open invitation for those who attended OHHS to join friends from far and wide (and some of us who didn’t go too far away) for a once-in-a-lifetime “Lost Weekend” Aug. 12 to 14.
On Friday, Aug. 12, from 7 p.m. until close, The Cage, 97 Ash St., Lewiston, will be hopping. The Cage is owned by Denis Weber, class of 1987. There will be a cash bar, light food and a live band to party down to. Donations at the door will be accepted, and the party lasts until closing time.
On Saturday, Aug. 13, starting at 4 p.m., all are welcome and invited to attend at outside event at the Mulherin residence, 14 Ridge Road, in Wales. Todd and Amy (class of 1986 and1987) are opening up their great outdoors for an afternoon and evening of BYOB and a large bonfire to cap off the day. There is plenty of parking, lots of outside space, BYOB your favorite drinks (and snacks) and camp chairs and yourself.
Closing out the long Lost Weekend at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 14, there will be a final gathering at John Sullivan’s Pub and Restaurant, 18 Bridge St., Augusta. There will be a cash bar and food to order. Anyone who could not make either of the first two events will appreciate the inside pub-style atmosphere for the farewell event “’til we meet again.” Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the private venue.
