I lost my kayak last summer as it broke away from the dock in the middle of the night, on Echo Lake in Mt. Vernon, Maine. Turner Publishing ran a notice for me in the Lake Region Reader. Within 2 days a lady called me from Virginia and said she had my kayak. You can imagine my surprise. I said how did my kayak make it to Vaginia? She chuckled and said, “My caretaker found it as it wash ashore on the other side of the lake at my lake house.” “Thank you, Lake Region Reader!”
