LISBON FALLS — With the return of a full schedule of events for this year’s Moxie Festival, organizers are especially excited to welcome many new attractions this year.
Autobot Entertainment, from Bar Harbor, will be on site offering photography opportunities with larger-than-life Transformer robots. These highly skilled actors will be in character, engaging festival goers in their amazingly detailed costumes.
Evo Rock Climbing, of South Portland, is transporting its one-of-a-kind rock climbing wall to the festival grounds. Starting at noon on Saturday, July 9, climbers of all ages can test their skills on four different sides of this thirty-foot structure that will be set up behind the MTM, 18 School St.
TikTok favorite Box O Maine will bring their Moxie to this year’s festival.The food vendor’s channel has continued to grow in popularity because of the escapades of Moxie man, the soda’s hero. This vendor will also offer iconic Maine cuisine to send to friends and relations near and far, or just take home – presumably with a can of Moxie.
Also returning this year is 2019’s smash hit Kinetic Kreations, a giant human-powered hamster wheel powering a snow-cone machine.
The entertainment schedule features a lineup of local favorites, including bands Roxy by Proxy and Sidetracked on Friday, July 8, and the up-and-coming Smith Collaboration on Saturday, July 9, following the festival’s Fireman’s Muster and Moxie Chugging/Whoopie Pie eating contests. Headlining the entertainment will be a Journey cover band Saturday night.
