SABATTUS – As the weather warms up, the Sabattus Rec running group is continuing to hold free group runs every Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The runs are for all levels of experience and ability, including walkers, and are free, sociable and no-pressure. There are usually a few different options for distances and paces, and often someone to match up with, or bring a friend. There are several different routes to pick from, depending on the distance preferred. And there is plenty of support.
The group meets in front of Mixer’s Nightclub on Sabattus Road. The runs/walks usually last between 30-45 minutes.
With the later sunsets, the temps warming a bit, and the race season returning, it’s time to get back out there and get some exercise, and maybe make a few new friends in the process.
