Mar. 122022

LISBON —Sean Moore, of Lisbon Falls, a senior at Lisbon High School, has been selected to receive the 2022 Principal’s Award, Principal Susan Magee announced.
The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic excellence, outstanding school citizenship, and leadership.
“Throughout his years at Lisbon High School, Sean has represented himself, the community and our school in a positive light,” Magee said. “He has distinguished himself in the classroom academically by challenging himself and excelling in Honors level courses, and also as an extraordinary athlete in hockey, lacrosse and soccer. He holds down a job and coaches younger children. He is a leader in both the school and the community. Sean is truly deserving of this recognition and we congratulate him on a successful four years. We could not be more proud of him and his accomplishments at Lisbon High School.”
Moore, Magee and award winners from around the state will participate in the Principal’s Award Virtual Scholarship Drawing Event at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, at which 10 $1,000 scholarships will be drawn.
The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association which represents Maine’s school administrators.
