Applications for Durham scholarship are due March 3

DURHAM — The deadline for the scholarship for high school seniors from the Durham Scholarship Committee is 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3.
The committee awards one $1,000 college scholarship, paid directly to the recipient after the completion of the first semester with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applications will be reviewed and finalists chosen by the Durham Scholarship Committee.
Applicants must be residents of Durham at the time of their high school graduation. For more information, visit durhamme.com/durham-scholarship-committee.
A completed application, along with all supporting documentation, must be returned to the Durham Town Office at 630 Hallowell Road, Durham, ME 04222, Attn: Scholarship Committee. The award will be presented at the Durham Annual Town Meeting in April, and recipients will be notified by mail by April 1.
