Durham welcomes two new town office staffers

DURHAM – The town has two new staffers in its office — Jessica Landberg, a Durham resident, is the new town clerk and Janet Bowie is the new deputy treasurer/deputy tax collector.
With the new staff in training, some services normally available at the Town Offices, 630 Hallowell Road, may be delated or not available for the time being. Services not available until further notice include new license plates, private vehicle sales processing and other Bureau of Motor Vehicle services.
Town residents should visit the Town Offices in person to pay excise tax on a vehicle registration before going to the BMV to complete the vehicle registration. When renewing a registration at the town office, bring the current vehicle registration and proof of current motor vehicle insurance. Vehicle registration renewals may also be done online.
Recreational vehicle and boat registrations, as well as fishing and hunting licenses are still processed at the town office. Bring the ATV and boat registration documents with you.
