Sabattus running club to hold running best practices session for students

SABATTUS — The Sabattus Rec Club Running Program will holding two free one-hour training sessions designed to help middle and high school-aged students learn how to run better on Saturday, July 31.
The Running for Any Sport program, open to both girls and boys, will be held on the Oak Hill High School football field in Wales. The first session, for middle school students from the Oak Hill area, will be at 9 a.m. The second session, for high school students, is at 10 a.m. These will not be specific sport coaching sessions, and no personal training will be offered. There will be helpful information for all athletes including warm-up and balance tips, running efficiency, breathing exercises, workout suggestions and cool-down methods.
Attendees should wear a good pair of running shoes, bring hydration and a towel or blanket, and be prepared to run.
