SABATTUS -Two of the Boy Scouts of Troop 110 in Sabattus / Wales have completed their Eagle Scout projects in pursuit of earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
Maxwell Dorman led a team of Scouts and volunteers to construct a new shade pavilion at the Oak Hill Middle School. The permanent structure is located on the playground and will provide parents, teachers and students a space to get out of the sun while using the playground or adjacent sports fields.
Ausborn Boston led his Scouts and volunteers to reconstruct an aged and deteriorated staircase on the back of the American Legion Post 135 building in Sabattus. In addition, his team stained and finished the stairs and handicap ramp constructed as part of his older brothers’ Eagle Scout projects.
These projects will provide useful service for the community for years to come.
