SABATTUS — Girl Scout Troop 507 had a busy February, starting off with a trip to Westbrook to learn about engineering by building balloon cars and Lego race cars.
The next weekend the Girl Scout Juniors visited the Sabattus Fire Station to learn about first aid. They also experienced a tour of the station and learned how they use all the equipment. Also on the agenda was Making Valentines for the “Hearts for Hospice” program to bring a little cheer to someone’s day.
The Scouts finished off the month with the start of their annual cookie booth sales, which helps develop business and financial skills.
