DURHAM — Despite restrictions related to COVID-19, the town is still looking forward to future events and happenings. In that light, it is seeking new members for the Durham Memorial Day Parade Committee to help with the ninth annual event, set for May.
The committee is seeking two to four new members. Those with connections to the local running community are especially encouraged to join, but all are welcome, as well as ideas and enthusiasm.
The town also is seeking two alternate members for the Planning Board.
Ideal candidates would have some knowledge of engineering, building, site plans and/or land use, but it is not required. For information on either the parade committee, or the planning board, contact the Town Office at 207-353-2561 or adminasst@durhamme.com.
