Lisbon names new economic development director

LISBON — Brett Richardson has been named the town’s economic development director, town officials have announced.
Richardson brings to Lisbon more than 10 years of experience in economic and small business development. Before joining the Lisbon staff, he managed business development programming for food and beverage companies throughout Maine at Coastal Enterprises Inc., and helped develop, launch and grow a food waste composting business in southern Maine.
Richardson is a board member of Discover Downtown Westbrook and holds a masters degree in community planning and development from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine, and a bachelor of arts degree from Michigan State University.
Richardson looks forward to working with Lisbon residents, business owners and town colleagues, and those with ideas and questions about economic and community development in Lisbon are encouraged to contact him.
