LISBON — American Legion Post 158 will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the post, 10 Webster Road. Local, regional and state American Legion, Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the Legion members, as well as Veteran Affairs representatives, will be on hand to meet and answer questions about veteran issues, including health care. Members of the Lewiston Veterans Center will also be in attendance to discuss VA benefits, and Maine Veteran Services representatives will be on hand to discuss state veteran benefits.
The open house will be followed by a chicken barbeque and music starting at 3 p.m. Cost for the BBQ is $8, and $6 for children.
