Oak Hill High School recently held a holiday assembly, a finale to the school’s Legislative Assembly food baskets program. The assembly delivers baskets to families in Litchfield, Wales and Sabattus. Money is raised by school dance, teacher jeans day, anonymous community and teacher “Santas” and Advisory Class donations. This year, OHLA raised enough money to help 21 families, which included more than 40 children in the community. It was Oak Hill’s biggest year yet. The assembly showcased different class subjects singing their holiday tunes, which includes the school’s famous Physics 9.8 Song. Fifteen OHLA representatives marched in at the end of the assembly with the final food boxes to show the student body what they helped in raising. (David Maher photos)
