LISBON — The Lisbon Parks and Recreation Winter Fest 2019 will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Jan. 26, at Beaver Park.
The park is at 37 Cotton Road. Admission to Winter Fest is free and open to all.
Winter Fest is family friendly and includes free food, a wood carving display, antique snowmobiles, an ice carving demonstration, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice skating and other outdoor winter activities.
The Lisbon Fire Department will do demonstrations, and Scouts will tend bonfires to help keep people warm. Hot food will be available at the lodge, which will be warmed by a wood stove.
Wildlife biologist Ben Nugent will host two snowshoe tours in the park, at 10:30 a.m. and noon. Those taking part should bring their own snowshoes.
There will be a shuttle van, as well as greeters who will let folks know what’s going on where.
