LISBON FALLS — Children have the opportunity to show off their costumes in a parade at the Lisbon Harvest Festival Saturday, Oct. 27, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. (rain date Oct. 28) at the MTM Center, 18 School St.

Free activities include a family pumpkin-carving contest with cash prizes. Visit www.positivechangelisbon.org for contest details.
There will also be pie eating contests for kids and adults, as well as many activities run by local non-profit groups including pumpkin decorating, tattoo parlor, face painting, connect four, body bumpers, costume photo booth.
In addition, RMT Farms of Litchfield will have a visiting emu and alpaca for petting.
“This festival is just one of the many amazing events throughout the year that make my town such a great place to live. I love being a part of this growing and thriving community!” says Lynette Carver of Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls and member of the festival planning team.
The annual festival is organized by Positive Change Lisbon — an organization of business owners, residents and government officials who work together to make Lisbon a more attractive place to live, recreate and conduct business — and sponsored by Rusty Lantern Markets.
