LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Historical Society will welcome photographer Steve Yenco at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, t 7 p.m.
The meeting will be at the MTM Center, 18 School St.
Yenco is a nature photographer, capturing outdoor images using both conventional and drone cameras, and will take up the Golden Road of the Katahdin region, with features including the Ice Caves, where snow can still be found late into the summer. He will also show photos of the new Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.
Yenco has visited and photographed the spectacular scenery of the North Maine Woods a number of times.
The talk is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; parking and entrance are at the rear of the building.
