ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Hayley Steckler, a media and communication major from Pownal, Maine, was one of 40 Muhlenberg College students recognized for their performance in the classroom and on the field with their selection to the Centennial Conference academic honor roll for the winter 2017-18 season.
Steckler was a member of the women’s track and field team.
To be named to the honor roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
In addition, Steckler made the dean’s list five semesters and studied abroad in Maastricht, Netherlands, during the Fall 2016 semester.
The daughter of David Steckler and Marcia Bow, she graduated from Freeport High School where she was a member of both the cross-country and track teams.
