BOWDOIN — The organizers of a new community celebration in Bowdoin, based on Bowdoin Harvest Days of the past, is looking for volunteers to help plan, and also for individuals and organizations that would like to set up booths.
The celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Bowdoin Central School.
Booths should fall into one of these themes: community, history or nature. Hands-on activities and games are encouraged.
The committee is also looking for help planning the all-ages event, which will likely include a 5K race organized by the BCS PTC, guided and self-guided tours of Bowdoin, live music, food and more.
The event will celebrate Bowdoin past, present and future.
