BATH — The Chocolate Church Arts Center will hold auditions for Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19 and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan 20, at Patten Free Library, 33 Summer St.
Monologues of less than two minutes are encouraged but not required. Those auditioning will also be asked to read from the script.
Rehearsals will be held in Bath Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Saturdays each week beginning Tuesday, Jan. 23.
Rehearsals will be more frequent the two weeks prior to opening. Performances will be on the main stage of the Chocolate Church Arts Center, 804 Washington St., on June 1, 2, 3 8, 9 and 10. It is essential those auditioning bring a reliable conflict schedule to the auditions.
