LISBON — The 25th annual Lisbon Golden Reunion will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston. The reunion was begun by the class of 1942 on the occasion of their 50th reunion, and is open to all those who graduated from Lisbon High School 50 or more years ago, and their guests. Reservations should be made by Sept. 1.
The reunion will begin with a meet and greet at 11 a.m. and a buffet lunch at noon. Members of the Class of 1967 are celebrating their 50th reunion this year, and organizers said they hope to see many of them at the Golden Reunion. Also observing milestone reunions this year are the classes of 1947 (70th), 1952 (65th), 1957 (60th), and 1962 (55th).
Mike Violette, of MV DJ Services, will provide music of the 40s, 50s and 60s. There will also be a raffle to raise money for the scholarship fund.
