LITCHFIELD — Country Fest Maine 2017 will be held Friday and Saturday, Aug.4 and 5 (rain or shine) inside the air-conditioned clubhouse at the Litchfield Sportsmen’s Club, 2261 Hallowell Rd.
There will be a public supper Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. and a music jam from 6 to 9p.m. The mean will consist of beans, hot dogs, casseroles, desserts and more, followed by toe-tapping music for the rest of the night. All musicians as welcomed. The cost is $7 per person for supper and the music jam.
Saturday will feature live, non-stop music from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. by some of Maine’s top musicians — Gary Leet & The Country Drifters, Rachel Landry, Brian Plato, Down the Dirt Road Band, Jack Duggins, Lost & Found Band, Dona Whittemore, Bob Heller & BJ Cross, Dennis Moro and Off the Hill Band. Admission is $8 per person; kids under 12 are free.
There is plenty of free parking and the building is handicapped accessible; concessions will be available.
