LISBON — St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church will offer a free Spiritual Gifts workshop led Nancy Violette Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
“Ever wonder what God has equipped you to do?” she asks. “This workshop is designed to change your life.”
The workshop will focus on scripture passages relating to God-given gifts. Each participant will complete a questionnaire to help discover their unique gifts. There will be ample time for discussion and questions.
Violette, a member of St. Matthew’s Church and weekly Bible study leader for more than 50 years, has also taught the two-year Bethel Bible Series several times. Violette earned a master of arts in education from the University of Maine. She recently retired after teaching math for more than 30 years at various schools. She and her late husband Roland have two sons, Jeff and Greg.
