DURHAM — Durham Fire and Rescue is looking for volunteers to help out during EMS Week this month, as well as Fire Prevention Week in October. No fire/rescue or teaching experience is necessary. The EMS Week program is May 24, and Fire Prevention Week is the week of Oct. 8. The department presents programs both weeks to educate the public about fire safety and other issues.
