DURHAM –The Select Board has appointed Kathy Tombarelli as Durham’s first town manager.
Tombarelli is currently the town planner for Gray. She has extensive experience in land use issues, ordinance writing and future planning, as well as strong leadership, grant administration and organizational management skills.
A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Tombarelli holds a master’s degree in public policy and management from the Muskie School of Public Service. Transition and onboarding planning is underway, including looking for opportunities for the community to meet her.
Tombarelli’s first official day will be May 10.
