Durham 2021 town meeting will be replaced with secret ballot

DURHAM — The town will not hold a traditional town meeting. Instead, residents will vote on the municipal warrant by secret ballot Tuesday, April 6, at the Durham AMVETS Post 13.
The town is currently accepting applications for absentee ballots, which will be available approximately 30 days before the election (on or about March 6) and will be mailed directly to residents.
The select voard will hold a virtual public hearing Tuesday, March 16, via Zoom to discuss the warrant for the town meeting/referendum. The public hearing will begin at 6 p.m. Details on the Zoom link for the public hearing will be released soon.
