SABATTUS — The Sabattus Recreation Club Running Club held its annual Jingle Jog Saturday, Dec. 19.
Jinglers ran in the Sabattus village area, dressed in colorful and festive holiday attire. The weather turned out to be very nice for the fun jog, and Santa dropped off a few surprises while the runners were out spreading cheer.
The Rec Club Running Program is in its eighth year, and has been doing the Jingle Jog for the past few years. The club also collected toys for area families again this year, making a donation to Loaves and Fishes.
The group meets at 6 p.m. every Wednesday in the Mixer’s Nightclub parking lot night. The runs are free, no-pressure, group runs. Anyone and everyone is welcome.
