SABATTUS — The Harry J. Conway American Legion Post 135 will host a Trunk or Treat from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, in the post parking lot, 40 Island Road.
This year, because of COVID-19, the Legion will host the event for the Sabattus community in hopes to give back to the community that supports them. “We hope that this event will provide a safe and fun way for the Sabattus community children to celebrate Halloween,” said Americanism Officer Tracey Rancourt.
All COVID-19 restrictions will be observed. six-feet social distancing, masks if distancing is not possible, and all candy will be in individual bags to limit handling.
“Safety and precautions are our top priority and want this to be a safe way for children to enjoy the holiday,” Rancourt said.
