Durham seeks Spirit of America nominees

DURHAM — The town is seeking nominations for the 2020 Spirit of America Foundation Tribute for outstanding community service and volunteerism.
Nominations of a local person, project or group will be accepted at the Durham Town Offices through Friday, Feb. 14. The honoree will be announced at Town Meeting in April.
The first Spirit of America Foundation award was presented to Alma Jones by Augusta Mayor William Burney on Nov. 26, 1991. For more information on the award, visit www.spiroaft.com.
