AUGUSTA — Sen. Brownie Carson, D-Harpswell, has announced three office hours events for January, in Freeport, Brunswick and Harpswell.
Public office hours provide residents a chance to meet with their elected officials, ask questions and get help with legislative or state government matters. The hours are open to any of Carson’s constituents, regardless of political party.
Carson will discuss accomplishments from the past legislative session, his goals for the coming session and answer any questions residents might have. Carson is serving his second term in the Maine Senate. He is the senate chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee.
Carson represents Senate District 24, which includes Brunswick, Freeport, Harpswell, North Yarmouth and Pownal.

10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 11, Bow Street Market 79 Bow St., Freeport;
5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, Brunswick Town Hall, Room 117 on the first floor, 85 Union St., Brunswick;
5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28, Harpswell Town Office, 263 Mountain Road, Harpswell.
