Durham to offer $1,000 scholarship in 2020

DURHAM — The Durham Scholarship Committee will award one $1,000 college scholarship in 2020.
The deadline for submitting an application is 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 6. The scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient after the successful completion of the first semester of college (minimum 2.5 GPA). Applications will be reviewed and finalists chosen by the Durham Scholarship Committee. Those applying must be a resident of Durham at time of high school graduation, currently reside in the town and have applied to or been accepted at an accredited academic, vocational, professional or technical school, college or university (must attend classes full-time), and plan to attend in the fall.
