LISBON — The Lisbon School Department is accepting names for the public school pre-kindergarten program at Lisbon Community School. This program is for children who will be 4 years old on or before Oct. 15.
Children are selected for attendance in the pre-K program by a lottery system. To register for the lottery, please contact Stephanie Doughty at the LCS Office at 353-4132.
You will need to provide your child’s name, date of birth, address, telephone number(s), and parent(s) names(s). Class size is limited.
Children who are not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list. All names must be on the list by Thursday, April 6.
The lottery will be held on Friday, April 7. If you have already submitted your child’s name, it is not necessary to do so again. Parents will be notified of the lottery results by mail following the drawing.
Students in the pre-K program attend school Monday through Friday. The morning session is held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The afternoon session is held from noon to 2:30 p.m.
The school department provides transportation for morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Families must provide transportation for the 10:30 a.m. pickup and noon drop-off.
