Lisbon Methodist Church plant, bake sale is May 12

LISBON — The Lisbon United Methodist Church annual Spring Plants and Bake Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the church, 14 School St., Lisbon Falls.
There will be an assortment of potted plants, ideal for a personalized Mother’s Day gift for Mom or a friend or for your own garden.

This year, the selection of colorful annual flowers, vegetables and perennials, will include flowering shrubs and fruit trees. All plants are from local nurseries, Bush’s Bushes and Four Duck Pond Greenhouse of Bowdoin.
There will also be homemade pies, cakes and other baked goods for sale. RADA knives and cutlery will also be on sale.
The annual event raises money to support local and regional organizations. The sale will be held rain or shine.
