LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas celebration at its December meeting, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Lisbon Historical Society.
The society meets at the MTM Center, School Street, and the meeting is free and open to the public.
The celebration will include a discussion of the rich historical origins of many seasonal traditions as well as members and guests joining in a sing-along of seasonal songs.
It’s also a custom to hear a rendition of “The Night Before Christmas,” read by a member. There will be a Yankee swap gift exchange, and the meeting will conclude with delicious pot-luck seasonal refreshments and beverages.
