SABATTUS — The American Legion Harry J. Conway Post 135 will hold its monthly Community Fundraising Breakfast, from 7:30 until 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at the post, 40 Island Road.
The breakfast is open to Legion members and local communities.
The proceeds from the breakfast support community and veteran’s programs; veteran rehabilitation, national security, Americanism, and children and youths.
The menu consists of scrambled eggs, eggs-to-order, French toast, chipped beef, pancakes, sausage, ham, baked beans, two types of country fries, toast, muffins, orange juice, coffee, tea and milk.
The post holds a community fundraising breakfast the first Sunday of the month from October through June, with the exception of January. The Sabattus American Legion has been serving the community since December 1924. Volunteers to help with breakfast are always welcome.
