LISBON FALLS – Lisbon United Methodist Church is sponsoring the second annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16. Registration for the timed event is open now through the day of the race. The event is open to all ages and will take place rain or shine. Walk-ons welcome.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Lisbon Area Christian Outreach Food Bank and Tedford Housing’s “Warm Thy Neighbor” programs. Child care and activities will be available for children of event participants. Last year, over $2,500 was raised to support the LACO Food Bank. The Church is at 14 School St. in Lisbon Falls.
