Lewiston author DeBlois to speak at Riverfront-Franco Center March 29

LEWISTON – Local author Peggy Lefreniere DeBlois will give a talk from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday March 29, at the Riverfront-Franco Center, 46 Cedar St.
The talk is free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch. It will feature DeBlois’s novel “The Toll Road North,” which is set in Lewiston, both currently and in the 1960s and 1970s.
DeBlois grew up in Lewiston and graduated from Bowdoin College, in Brunswick. “The Toll Road North” (Maine Authors Publishing: 2022) is her first novel.
