LEWISTON – The Lewiston Public Library ss partnering with the Ancient Brothers Lodge 178 to bring the Masonic Bikes for Books program to children in Lewiston and Auburn. The program encourages children to read, and gives away eight brand new bicycles.
To participate, from April 15 to May 31, kids in grades 1 through 8 fill out a book review at the library. For every book review completed, a raffle ticket with the child’s name is entered into the drawing to win a bike. Kids can submit more than one book review.
A reception will be held for kids to receive their bikes at 11 a.m. Saturday June 17 in the Children’s Department at the library, 200 Lisbon St.
