Staff from the Norway Center for Health & Rehabilitation presented the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine with patient comfort baskets on Feb. 17in recognition of Random Acts of Kindness Day. Staff and residents held a month-long drive to fill multiple baskets with a personal care products such as shampoo, toothbrushes, soap and lotion, as well as cleaning supplies, writing journals, socks and other personal items to help make life a little easier for patients living with cancer. “We are very grateful for the generosity and efforts of the staff at the Norway Center for Health & Rehabilitation,” said Diane Madden, executive director of the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine. “It is obvious that a lot of thought and love went into making each basket.” From left, Lora Parker, Heather Jackson, Katherine Hatch, Falishia Ward.
