BATH – Patten Free Library will the host the AARP Tax Aide program until April 13 for those seeking assistance with their taxes.
The free-of-charge Tax Aide program is in-person, face-to-face tax preparation assistance, and will be held in the Community Room on the second floor. No appointments are required. While the program has a focus on those who are over 50, as well as low to moderate-income tax filers, there are no income or age requirements, but an intake questionnaire (available at the library) must be filled out before you can receive assistance.
Volunteers will be available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through April 13.
