DIXFIELD – The Dirigo Drama Club of Regional School Unit 26 recently staged a production of “A Dragon in the Mix,” staring fourth and fifth-graders from Dirigo Elementary School.
Students participating were Blake Hutchinson, Lukas Oliveira, Skylar Conley, Tegan Stevenson, Leigha Roy, Zariah Bouchardm Trevin Thibeault, Grant Hutchinson, Loreli Waite, Jonah Griffin, Asher Mailet, Mason Child, Clayton Swan and Bonnie Morris.
The show was directed by Laura Johnston and Bethany Meehan-Poulin, and is a spin on the classic fairytale, in which princesses can be career women, a dragon can be a rockstar, and no one has to get married. The story was by Sue Ann Gunn and was performed Nov. 18 and 19 at Dirigo High School.
