Hog Island Audubon Camp scholarships available for Brunswick-area teens

BRUNSWICK — The Merrymeeting chapter of Maine Audubon is offering scholarships to National Audubon’s Hog Island in Bremen, for high schoolers and one educator.
The six-day sessions are Coastal Maine Bird Studies for Teens I, Coastal Maine Bird Studies II and Sharing Nature: An Educator’s Week.

High school guidance counselors will have information and application forms. The deadline for applying is Feb. 18.

The chapter scholarship committee plans in the near future to announce scholarships to three University of Maine 4-H camps for younger students — Bryant Pond, Tanglewood/Blueberry Cove and Greenland Point.
