The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine recently received a $3,250 grant from the Walmart Foundation to help support basic needs of cancer patients not covered by other local resources or supports. “Each year, the Walmart Foundation provides each store with funds in their budget which they can use for specific causes for the betterment of their community,” Matthey Packard, manager of the Oxford Walmart, said. ‘This year we are excited to be able to support the work of the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine.” From left, Stephanie LeBlond and Diane Madden, of Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine; Oxford Walmart store Manager Matthew Packard, and Krystal Hadley, Amy Huard and Brittany Aube, of Oxford Walmart.
