Knowles promoted to assistant VP at Kennebec Savings Bank

AUGUSTA — Heather Knowles has been promoted to the position of assistant vice president and controller at Kennebec Savings Bank.

In her role, Knowles is responsible for maintaining a well-controlled accounting and financial reporting system that accurately reflects the financial position of the Bank.
Knowles is a long-time employee of the bank, working there as a summer intern before joining it full-time as a finance assistant in 1998.
“Heather has risen through the ranks from summer intern to controller due to her keen ability to track and steward the Bank’s finances,” said President and CEO Andrew Silsby. “She is a valuable asset to our team.”
Knowles said that the bank is a great place to work. “I look forward to continuing my career in a place where personal and professional growth is encouraged,” she said.
