LIVERMORE FALLS — Remember being swept away to another world by the art on the pages of a picture book? In January, Treat Memorial Library is paying tribute to illustrators every Tuesday on Facebook with Illustrious Illustrators.
The library will share its favorite artists and wants to know who readers’ like, too. They can share every Tuesday in January.
Story Time Live is at 10:30 a.m. ever Wednesday on Facebook, with stories, songs, rhymes and more. Tune in for the stories and try to guess the theme!
Bonkers for Books recommendations will be posted Saturday, Jan. 8 and 22 on the library’s Facebook page. Check out what’s new on our shelves and books for all ages.
The Zoom Book Club will continue the Food in Fiction series with the cozy mystery “Arsenic and Adobo,” by Mia P. Maransala. The discussion will take place over Zoom at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13. Let staff know if you would like a copy of the book up for discussion and the email invite to the meeting.
The library is closed Saturday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day, and Tuesday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King Day.
Treat Memorial Library is open without requiring an appointment, but masks are required at all times in the library regardless of vaccination status. Masks are available at the door for those who need them. Patrons are asked to limit their time in the library to 30 minutes. Curbside service is also still available.
