BELGRADE – The Maine Crime Writers author group will present a panel of four mystery writers speaking on “Casting Call: How Writers Staff Their Mysteries,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, in an online event hosted by Belgrade Public Library.
Maine crime writers Kate Flora, Maureen Milliken (of Belgrade), Susan Vaughan and Maggie Robinson will talk about how they come up with their varied and interesting casts of characters, and other writing topics. If you’re a writer or a reader, this event will make you take a second look at your favorite characters and give insights into writing your own. The Maine Crime Writers is a group of published Maine mystery writers who blog at mainecrimewriters.com.
