Richmond Area Health Center welcomes family nurse practitioner

RICHMOND – Jessica Krol, FNP, has joined the Richmond Area Health Center staff.
Krol’s experience comes from a variety of medical settings, from larger hospitals to rural health centers. She has worked in the demanding environment of a Level 1 Trauma Center, and her background spans adult, pediatric and family medicine. Most recently, Krol completed a 19-week preceptorship at the Richmond Area Health Center and trained under nurse practitioner Tom Bartol.
She has shown to be a tremendous asset to the HealthReach team, the organization said in a news release announcing her role in Richmond. Krol joins physicians Linda Hermans, Michael Landrum and Henry Scheuller, and nurse practitioners Melissa Hackett and Tom Bartol.
Richmond Area Health Center’s clinicians offer medical and behavioral health services and serve patients of all ages from Richmond, Gardiner, Litchfield, Dresden and Bowdoinham – as well as Augusta and surrounding communitie.
Richmond Area Health Center is a part of HealthReach Community Health Centers, a private non-profit with a 45-year history, funded by patient fees, grants and by the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It has 11 locations in western and central Maine, including in Bethel, Belgrade, Bingham, Albion (Lovejoy Health Center), Kingfield (Mount Abram Regional Health Center), Madison, Rangeley, Richmond, Pittsfield (Sheepscot Valley Health Center), Strong and Livermore Falls (Western Maine Health Center).
