KINGSTON, R.I. – Students from central and western Maine are among 4,000 students who received graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Rhode Island, which held its 135th commencement ceremony May 21-23.
Area graduates are:
BRUNSWICK: Samuel D Katz, master of science in oceanography.
LISBON FALLS: Alyssa Nicole Hall, bachelor of science in biological science, magna cum laude (GPA of at least 3.50).
MANCHESTER: Alec Stanley, master of science in civil and environmental engineering.
OXFORD: Emma Rose Davidson, bachelor of science in nutrition and dietetics, summa cum laude (GPA of at least 3.7).
RAYMOND: Alana M Cobb, doctor of pharmacy, magna cum laude (GPA of at least 3.50).
TOPSHAM: Ryan M Nadeau, master of arts in history and a master of library and information studies.
