Dono promoted at Kennebec Savings Bank

AUGUSTA — Kevin Dono has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer at Kennebec Savings Bank.
Dono joined Kennebec Savings Bank in February 2020 as senior vice president and senior operations officer. In his role, Dono oversees several areas of the bank, including information technology, information and physical security, vendor management, deposit operations and business innovation.
Before joining KSB, Dono worked at Quorum Federal Credit Union in New York, where he was a senior director for operations, loan servicing and digital channels. He also oversaw Quorum’s information technology business services area for six years. He has a background in software development and project management, and worked for eleven years in those functional areas for a company that develops treasury and capital markets core banking software.
“Kevin joined us in February 2020 – just before COVID hit. It was a challenging time to start a new role, but Kevin took it in stride,” said KSB President and CEO Andrew Silsby. “Since then, he has risen to the many unanticipated challenges the pandemic has presented and provided invaluable leadership for our recent merger. We are pleased to acknowledge his excellent work with this promotion.”
