Brunswick photographer wins awards at annual state convention

BRUNSWICK — Jeffrey Morris, a certified professional photographer at Pierce Studio won several awards at the Maine Professional Photographers Association convention held via Zoom March 19 to 21.
Morris’s images of the Maine State Music Theatre production of “Grease” earned a blue riibbon and was selected as the Commercial Image of the Year.
His restoration image, “A Jolly Restoration,” also won a blue ribbon in the Digital Artistry category. Morris also won four other print awards for images of local interest.
Morris also was awarded the Maine Professional Photographer’s Distinguished Colleague Award in recognition of 23 years of service to the organization, including past president, certification liaison (2005 to present) and numerous years on the board. Additionally, he earned a second Maine Fellowship award by earning points in a system that rewards continuing education, awards, service and more.
